INTRODUCCIÓN quîckSATE
¿Por qué es importante el aislamiento en una vivienda?
El confort en una vivienda es esencial en el día a día, uno de los elementos clave para que ésta lo sea es al aislamiento térmico. En el caso de España, prácticamente el 50 % de las viviendas construidas tienen más de 30 años, por lo que mayor parte del parque de vivienda en España se construyó sin seguir una normativa en eficiencia energética. Esto supone, para muchas viviendas, una gran deficiencia.
Es decir, una carencia a nivel energético muy importante. Esta deficiencia por lo general conlleva un consumo energético superior al óptimo en muchos casos, con el consecuente gasto económico y deterioro medioambiental.
¿Cómo podemos rectificar esta situación?
Mediante la instalación de sistemas SATE podemos remediar gran parte del problema. Estos sistemas contribuyen de manera muy significativa al aprovechamiento, en favor del ahorro energético, de la inercia térmica propia de los cerramientos y, con ello, a la nivelación de las posibles oscilaciones térmicas que puede sufrir la vivienda, tanto por los factores internos como externos.
Nivelando estas oscilaciones no sólo seremos capaces de remitir los gastos energéticos excesivos para mantener climatizada la vivienda, también contribuiremos al mantenimiento indirecto de la vivienda. Ya que, al reducir las variaciones constantes de la temperatura, reduciremos posibles problemas asociados a los mismos, como por ejemplo posibles fisuras debidas a los movimientos de dilatación y contracción de sus diferentes elementos.
Definición y concepto de un SATE
De acuerdo con la ANFAPA (Asociación de Fabricantes de Morteros y SATE), los SATE (Sistema de aislamiento térmico exterior) están conformados por un panel aislante prefabricado el cual se adhiere a un muro o cerramiento y su fijación habitual es mediante encolado o encolado y fijación mecánica.
Este panel actúa como aislante, el cual se protege con un revestimiento constituido por una o varias capas de morteros. Una de estas capas debe estar contener una malla como refuerzo. (Imagen 1).

Los SATE son sistemas que proporcionan unas propiedades térmicas ausentes en las viviendas con deficiencias en su aislamiento térmico. Las principales propiedades aportadas son la confinación energética de la vivienda mediante la incorporación exterior del aislamiento y, por ello, la inmediata reducción de puentes térmicos, así como la disminución de oscilaciones térmicas.
Puentes térmicos
Para las viviendas, la envolvente es uno de los pilares claves en cuanto al aislamiento, siendo ésta el elemento contenedor de todos los habitáculos. Pero no es un elemento continuo debido a la presencia de los huecos generados por puertas, ventanas, forjados, pilares etc. Estos puntos son precisamente los más débiles frente a la posibilidad de apariciones de puentes térmicos.
Oscilaciones térmicas
Las diferencias térmicas en las viviendas suponen, con el paso del tiempo, una de las principales causas de aparición de grietas y fisuras en la envolvente de la vivienda. Estas aparecen debido a las contracciones y dilataciones que sufren los materiales a causa de estas variaciones. La incorporación de un elemento que mejore el aislamiento de la envolvente puede ayudar a prevenir o reducir este efecto.
Panel quîckplâck
Base del sistema constructivo quîckplâck así como del sistema de aislamiento por el exterior quîckSATE Los paneles de quîckplâck están compuestos por una placa base de quîckfôam (Poliestireno Expandido (EPS), recubierta y armada superficialmente en ambas caras. Este armado se realiza mediante la incorporación, a una primera capa de mortero base (quîckmortar, mortero flexible de altas prestaciones) de una malla de fibra de vidrio de alta resistencia (quîckfiber), terminándose el conjunto con una segunda capa del mismo mortero especial (quîckmortar). Tal composición de mortero – malla – mortero, así como su extraordinaria adherencia al poliestireno base, confieren al panel quîckplâck sus altas prestaciones mecánicas.
Sistema quîckSATE y ventajas de este frente al SATE tradicional
Tal y como se ha presentado anteriormente, muchas de los distintos elementos que conforman un SATE tradicional están comprendidos en el único elemento que es el propio panel de quîckplâck. Comenzando por el núcleo del panel, el núcleo de EPS que lo conforma será el elemento aislante que utilizará el sistema.
En cuanto a la capa de refuerzo con malla que en el sistema tradicional se resuelve "in situ", es decir, en obra, en el sistema quîckplâck SATE, el panel ya sale de fabrica con dicha capa y malla de refuerzo incorporadas, con la garantía que aporta que tal inclusión se lleve a cabo en fábrica, en un ambiente y proceso constructivo controlados en todos sus aspectos. Este proceso se sustituye por un sencillo tratamiento de juntas, habitual en el sistema constructivo quîckplâck.
No podemos olvidarnos del consiguiente ahorro en mano de obra y tiempo que ello supone. Por otro lado, el sistema quîckplâck SATE, incorpora como novedad una cámara de aire, no ventilada, entre el panel y terminación exterior final y la obra base o muro a proteger.
Dicha cámara tal y como se especifica en el CTE prevé una resistencia térmica añadida de 0,17 m2K/w. Siempre y cuando la cámara sea estanca tal y como es nuestro caso.
Esto es así porque la sujeción del sistema se realiza de forma mecánica a través de perfiles fijados previamente al muro base.
De esta manera, conseguimos diversas ventajas en el proceso;
1.- No dependemos de forma directa del grado de deterioro del recubrimiento preexistente.
2.- Los posibles problemas de planeidad de la base se solucionan de manera sumamente eficaz con la nivelación adecuada de los perfiles de interposición mencionados.
3.- Al venir el panelado con la capa de refuerzo incorporada, la innecesaridad de un saneamiento profundo del recubrimiento preexistente, así como del habitual encolado previo e inclusión de la malla, podemos asegurar que el ahorro en tiempo de instalación y mano de obra es más que significativo.
Conservándose, lógicamente, las propiedades principales que aportan los sistemas SATE.
• Reducción de puentes térmicos: Con el sistema quîckplâck los puentes térmicos son completamente eliminados. Debido a sus características y proceso de instalación, con los tratamientos de juntas correspondientes, se consigue una envolvente térmica continua.
• Reducción de oscilaciones térmicas: Los paneles quîckplâck presentan una conductividad térmica λ = W/m K ≤ 0.042 (panel de 100mm de espesor). Es debido a esto que la temperatura en el interior del sistema va a ser siempre estable, minimizando las posibles contracciones y dilataciones de la vivienda y r educiendo el riesgo de aparición de fisuras por tal motivo.

El tratamiento de juntas, habitual en el sistema constructivo quîckplâck, debe ser meticuloso y se lleva a cabo mediante tiras de quîckfîber de 10 cm de ancho, a lo largao de toda la junta, fijadas con mortero adhesivo quîckmortar. De esta manera se logra una unión segura a la vez que flexible, proporcionando uniformidad en toda la piel exterior del sistema
TRATAMIENTO DE JUNTAS
Aplicamos una espuma de poliuretano expansible para sellar los límites superior e inferior de nuestro sistema SATE, así como todas las aperturas hacia el exterior que puedan quedar sin tapar de la cámara de aire.

Una vez replanteando el hueco sobre el panel, procederemos a la apertura del mismo. Para ello podemos utilizar una sierra de mano o una motosierra. Recortamos el panel y retiramos la pieza sobrante. Más adelante repararemos, mediante tratamiento de juntas, los cantos expuestos tras el corte.

quîckplâck como panel preelaborado, se adapta a todo tipo de necesidades gracias a su ligereza y resistencia, siendo compatible en su totalidad con el resto de sistemas constructivos. Previsto de unas sorprendentes propiedades, aúna ligereza y resistencia y es posible su instalación sobre concreto, paramentos de ladrillo, soportes antiguos, mixtos y prácticamente cualquier base que se pretenda complementar o rehabilitar.

Los elementos en forma de L y U, son utilizados de distintas y amplias maneras, en su gran mayoría se usan para la realización de estantes. La forma de estos paneles permite diversas aplicaciones.

quîckplâck te ofrece una forma rápida y limpia para realizar el revestimiento de tu baño, es un producto ideal puesto que usualmente la instalación con materiales convencionales suele ser lenta, engorrosa y difícil. Adicionalmente con los paneles personalizados se pueden crear espacios a con un diseño único.
Para la creación de estantes, simplemente cortar el elemento de ángulo con forma de L o con forma de U a la longitud deseada. Adherir con adhesivo el elemento así cortado a la pared. A continuación, atorníllelo mediante fijadores quîcktôols y aplicar a las uniones entre diferentes elementos, cinta armada autoadhesiva quîcktôols. Alternativamente es posible, según la necesidad, la colocación con adhesivo prescindiendo de la cinta armada. A continuación se realiza el alicatado o la colocación de enlucido. Una vez colocada la terminación pertinente, la estantería estará acabada y lista para su utilización.
Muebles de baño.
Los paneles quîckplâck de construcción son mucho más que meros soportes de recubrimiento para paredes y suelos. Debido a su manejabilidad, ligereza y trabajabilidad es posible su empleo como base para el diseño y posterior alicatado, si así se desea, de todo tipo de mobiliario en nuestro cuarto de baño. Los paneles de construcción en los grosores 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 y 80 mm son especialmente indicados para ello. Ya sean lavabos, bancos de asiento, estanterías o superficies de colocación de objetos. La creatividad no tiene límites. Además, los trabajos de realización siguen siendo fáciles y sencillos.

- Realizar huecos y orificios de inspección según la necesidad en
el panel de construcción.
- Una de forma sencilla los paneles de construcción cortados con fijadores quîcktools.
- Pegue los elementos entre sí con quîcksealîng.
- Aplique cinta armada quîcktools en juntas y bordes.
- Instale el alicatado si es el caso, con quîckmôrtar cola para azulejos.
Para superficies no recubiertas
con baldosas.
Para las zonas no recubiertas con baldosas, se pueden utilizar también enlucidos y revocos sobre quîckplâck. Los encuentros entre paneles, así como las esquinas interiores y exteriores se deben reforzar.

Construction of countertops for kitchens.
Ideal as a support for ceramic tiles, quîck plâck imper is especially suitable for the construction of kitchen countertops and other surfaces covered with ceramic or natural stone. The quîck plâck panel it is installed quickly and easily on metal or wooden structures as a support for laying coatings, using the screws available in our range of quîck tôols products . The joints between panels must coincide on top of the structure, otherwise the joints must be glued.
Once the quîck plâck panel is screwed It is possible, without any other preparation, to lay the ceramic tiles with our adhesive mortar quîck môrtar in a thin layer.
On flat supports that allow placement with thin-layer adhesives, it is possible to use panels with a thickness from 5 mm. For placement with adhesive dots, the panel should be chosen in a suitable thickness from 20 mm according to the requirements of the work.
The corners and joints must be waterproofed with our quîck sealîng band . Tube passages and the like must also be adequately waterproofed.
Support for ceramic tiles on metal or wooden structures.
In bathrooms, partitions are often required to separate showers, toilet stalls and room divisions. Normally the construction of these walls with bricks or paneled structures is time consuming and these surfaces are often not suitable for laying ceramic tiles without other preparations.
By using quîck plâck panels in a suitable thickness, stable and self-supporting partitions can be created quickly and easily, which also serve directly as a laying support for ceramic tiles. If necessary, the partitions can be fixed or stabilized with the angles or U-shaped profiles available in the quîck tôols product range .
The joints between panels and encounters with the support must be glued. A stainless steel U-shaped profile is also available, which can be used as an edge trim or as a fixing for hardware. In this way you can make simple separations and even complete divisions in showers, sinks and changing rooms.

Stairs application
quîck plâck can not only be used as cladding, tile application base or supplementation and rehabilitation of vertical (walls) or horizontal (floors) elements. As it allows us to design furniture pieces, we can also supplement and rehabilitate or simply give a new image, if we wish, of stairs in poor condition. For this we will follow the following steps.
1.- Irregularities or damage to the step caused by time must be corrected, until its surface is flat. To do this, the application surfaces must be clean of residues and traces of dirt and, if necessary, supplement said damages with the appropriate panel or with quîckmôrtar mortar, as the case may be.
2.- Cut the L-shaped quîckplâck element (sum of tread and pre-existing step partition), to the appropriate size.
3 .- Spread a thin layer of quîckmôrtar or by means of thin layer adhesive dots to ensure the perfect fixation of the paneling.
4.- The joints between the tread and the partition will be joined using the quîckfîber mesh and the application of the quîckmôrtar adhesive.
5 .- Finally proceed to setting the specified end as termination ladder.
